
The Orpington Band was founded in 1925 and provides a unique opportunity for players of all abilities to play and perform together. Originally established as the Orpington Silver Band playing marching and other brass band repertoires, it now includes wind instruments and plays a wide selection of music from old classics to modern pop and film music.
We practice every Monday evening at St Mary’s Church Worlds End Lane Orpington BR6 6AG. We currently have about 30 members who regularly attend Band practice / rehearsals. For further details see our Band Practice / Rehearsal page.

Members play a wide range of instruments including :- Tubas, Euphoniums, Bass Clarinet, Saxophones (Altos and Tenors, and one Soprano), Baritone Horn, Tenor Horns, Trombone and Trumpets. For a little more information about the instruments we play, please see Our Instruments.
